Real reviews from Google, Yelp and Facebook in our customers' own words (a few long ones are shortened). Total Turf, Inc. is a CA licensed C-27 contractor (#1125443) installing artificial turf, putting greens, pavers and concrete across the Sacramento region with in-house crews.
Had a great experience working with Total Turf! Tom, Stephanie, and their crews were all super friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Communication was great throughout the whole process, and you can tell they really take pride in what they do. The quality of their work and attention to detail really stood out. Great people, great work, and a really easy company to work with!
Tom and his team were great! They were efficient, reasonable, communicative, and the turf came out great. I’d recommend Total Turf to anyone in the Sacramento area looking to have some turf installed.
Really had a wonderful experience with Total Turf! Check out the before and after pics to see the difference! I got a total of 3 quotes from different companies. I had already seen Total Turf's work because they set up the Garden at the Line off Elvas/65th in East Sac, so I had them quote last so I could compare to everyone else. Tom was clear that they may not be the cheapest but that they'd be competitive and that their crew isn't subcontractors, they're part of the company. This is very clear in the quality of their work. Beyond that, the crew (Gerry, Ricky, Abel, and the guys) was incredibly polite and communicative throughout the process. In fact, Total Turf was VERY competitive with the other quotes and very clear and upfront about the process and timeline.
I should also mention that we had turf installed at my mom's house down the street as well as my house. For the two houses, we did backyards only. Total time was maybe 3 days per house though they ran in parallel a lot of the time.
My backyard was perhaps a bit more straightforward as it is open and was an install of the same grass across the entire backyard, however we have dogs and cats and knew that it would be subject to some pet wear and tear, so that was discussed up front to ensure we were considering the best option for drainage and sustainability. My mom is a former LPGA golfer, and we decided to do a small kidney bean shaped putting green. We knew we were not going to fit a PGA style green in the small backyard, but Total Turf designed a green with 3 holes that will absolutely serve as a competition ground for deciding who pays for dinner!
You will not regret using these guys.
What an extraordinary transformation. Our backyard had become increasingly difficult to enjoy—a large koi pond consumed significant water and electricity, while a mature tree created constant maintenance with falling leaves and aggressive root sprouts. I finally decided it was time for a complete redesign focused on beauty, functionality, and minimal upkeep.
Because I work in IT, I started the process a little differently: I asked my AI subscription to research artificial turf companies serving Roseville, compare customer reviews, pricing, reputation, and workmanship, and recommend which company I should contact first. Total Turf was the first recommendation—and it was absolutely correct.
This was not an easy four-day installation. The crew encountered extensive tree roots, difficult excavation, and a substantial mound of demolition soil where the koi pond waterfall had previously stood. The amount of physical labor required was considerable, yet their attention to detail never diminished. After working extremely hard all day, these men meticulously cleaned and organized my yard every single evening before leaving.
The finished backyard exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Tom, Abel, Tavo, Javier, Ciro, and the entire Total Turf team for an outstanding transformation.
I got 4 bids… I went with Total Turf! Best decision I made what I liked was Tom the owner comes out and did the bid… he was up front, the price we agreed too never changed. I felt it was like a family….Abel led the crew with Javi and Cira. Can’t say enough… easy 5 stars for me and my wife. Thank you guys again…Mike
I had the pleasure of hiring Total Turf to install a putting green in my backyard. Tom, Gerry and the rest of the crew did an excellent job. Tom explained the process from start to finish. (Which was more thorough than other estimates) The crew was on time, neat and their work was great. I highly recommend Total Turf for the great value and attention to detail. Thanks again Tom
Thank you to Tom and his crew for their outstanding work and skill installing turf at our home in Rancho Murieta North! These guys know their stuff, and Tom uses only the best, made in America turf! We've been looking at turf installations for years but couldn't find anything that looked professionally installed or with the quality of turf that we were hoping for. Tom's crew of 5 guys worked diligently and were meticulous every step of the way! We couldn't be happier and we highly recommend this company!!
Total Turf treated our tiny yard like a big deal. The owner of Total Turf, came out the same day we called, gave us a fair quote, and had his crew on-site the following week. They turned our 600 sq ft front yard into a stunning piece of art, with exceptional care, professionalism, and a crew that was just as impressive as the results. Total Turf delivers top-tier service no matter the job size. Highly recommend.
I'm very happy with the layout that was created for my side yard by Total Turf. They added a concrete patio which allows me to bbq and sit outside and putt away. I love relaxing and having drinks outside. I'm very happy with the service. The workers were outstanding. The workers showed up on time. They cleaned up everyday and the project was completed within three days! Working with Tom at Total Turf was great. They helped me with the layout and I wasn't disappointed at all. Highly recommend anyone to work with Total Turf.
When my wife asked for artificial turf for Christmas I asked Tom if he could fit me in while we were traveling so I could surprise my wife when we arrived home. Tom agreed and his crew was fast and efficient and the quality was perfect.
Tom and team did an amazing job on our turf. Amazing communication and great to work with.
